Welcome to Year 6!
Our classes are Owls and Kestrels. Miss Crannage teaches Owls and Kestrels is taught by Mrs Pardoe and Mrs Franklin. We also have Mrs Wagstaff and Mrs Downes who work with us every day.
Year 6 at Kates Hill is a truly special and memorable year. As the oldest pupils in the school, our Year 6 children take on important roles of responsibility and leadership, setting a positive example for younger peers. It’s a year filled with exciting challenges, personal growth, and preparation for the transition to secondary school.
Highlights of the year include trips, workshops, and opportunities to shine in sports. The children have opportunities to take on leadership roles including house captains and school council. Year 6 is a time to celebrate achievements, embrace new experiences, and leave primary school with pride and readiness for the next chapter.

Important information
- PE will be on Wednesdays and Fridays. Please ensure your child wears their correct PE kit to school on these days.
- Toast money is to be given on a Monday for your children to have toast. It costs £1 for the whole week.
