Free cinema tickets for Primary
On Sunday 24th March, children from Blowers Green Primary and Kates Hill Primary and their families had the opportunity to obtain free cinema tickets and attend a showing of the film Migration at Showcase Cinema, Dudley.
We were delighted that the free tickets were provided by Thomas Dudley Ltd, a local employer and valued supporter of our Trust. Thomas Dudley Ltd kindly gifted 100 free tickets for our primary children. These tickets were then distributed between our two primary schools and given on a first come first come first serve basis.
Children from Kates Hill Primary have written a thank you letter to Thomas Dudley following their visit to the cinema. Pictured are some of the children from Blowers Green Primary who had free tickets. See below some of the lovely comments from the children:
"Thank you for our cinema tickets! I really enjoyed watching the film with my mom. I liked how the ducks go on an exciting adventure and thought Uncle Dave was really funny." - Ramisa from Blowers Green Primary.
"I really enjoyed watching Migration with my big brother. My favourite part was when they went into the kitchen to find the keys to free the parrot. They did a dance, it was really funny." Musa from Blowers Green Primary.
"I had a really good time at the cinema with my dad and sister, we even got to eat popcorn! The film was really good and made me laugh. Thank you for giving us some tickets." Ayaan from Blowers Green Primary.
- “Thanks for getting our tickets - we really enjoyed the film! It was a really interesting film with lots of funny bits, too.” Children from Kates Hill Primary.
We cannot thank Thomas Dudley Ltd enough for their continued support and for allowing our young children and their families to have such a lovely experience. We are conscious that unfortunately, not all young people are able to visit the cinema, particularly in the current financial climate therefore, support such as this really does mean so much.

The Mallard family is in a bit of rut. While dad Mack is content to keep his family safe paddling around their New England pond forever, mom Pam is eager to shake things up and show their kids - teen son Dax and duckling daughter Gwen - the whole wide world. After a migrating duck family alights on their pond with thrilling tales of far-flung places, Pam persuades Mack to embark on a family trip, via New York City, to tropical Jamaica. As the Mallards make their way South for the winter, their well-laid plans quickly go awry. The experience will inspire them to expand their horizons, open themselves up to new friends and accomplish more than they ever thought possible, while teaching them more about each other - and themselves - than they ever imagined.
